A jeweler buys a ring from an artisan for $85. He sells the ring in his store at a 135% increase in price. What is the retail price? Please help! =)

Easy, convert 135% to a decimal to get 1.35. Now multiply by 85, so 85*1.35= $114.75.  Hope this helps!
