The three subatomic particels that compose atoms are protons, neutrons, and electrons.

proton:  mass = 1.67262*10^-27 kg    charge = positive 1  (1.60217*10^-19 C)

neutron: mass = 1.67493*10^-27 kg   charge = 0

electron: mass = 9.1*10^-31 kg  charge = negative 1   (-1.60217*10^-19 C)
