Transcription of many mRNAs, tRNAs, and rRNAs may be prevented because mammalian promoters produce polycistronic transcripts.

There are many promoters within the mammalian mitochondrial genome, so one mutation is not likely to have a significant effect on transcription because other promoters can be used to drive transcription of those genes.

Transcription of some mRNAs and tRNAs may be inhibited, but because the mitochondria import many proteins encoded by the nuclear genome, there will be no effect on the cell due to this particular mutation.

Transcription of a single mRNA or rRNA transcript will be prevented because each mammalian promoter controls expression of a single gene in mitochondrial genome.
