Part A:

 

When ω*L is very large, the bottom branch carries negligible current. Also,
1/ω*C  will be negligible compared to R1 
 
and so
 
current in the power supply and the top branch = Vrms / R1 
 
Part B:
 
Now 1/ω*C   goes to infinity, and ω*L goes to 0 so the gerneartor at the bottom branch  will carry:
 
 
current in the power supply and the bottom branch =  Vrms / R2
