Calculate the \rm pH of the solution made by adding 0.50 mol of propanoic acid, (\rm C_2H_5COOH or \rm HC_3H_5O_2) and 0.30 \rm mol of sodium propanoate (\rm C_2H_5COONa or \rm NaC_3H_5CO_2) to 1.00 \rm L of water. The value of K_a for \rm C_2H_5COOH is 1.3\times10^{-5}.
