Solution: Given the function f(x) whose line passing through the point (7,5) and (-3,-4)
 

there for the function f(x)=(y-y1)/(x-x1)=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
f(x)=(y-5)/(x-7)=(-4-5)/(-3-7)
f(x)=(y-5)/(x-7)=9/10

 

10y-50=9x-63
-9x+10y+13=0
9x-10y-13=0

First of all you have to find the slope, m.

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2-x1) = (-4 - 5)/(-3 - 7) = (-9)/(-10)

m = 9/10.

Now, the equation for the line passing through two points is => (y - y1) = m (x - x1)

Putting the values: (y - 5) = 9/10  (x - 7)

10(y-5) = 9(x - 7)

10y - 50 = 9x - 63

10y - 9x + 13 = 0 is the equation of the line passing through given points.
