2 people, on the equator. Say there was just a long straight road around the earth. If 2 people walk in different directions, 1 with and 1 against the rotation of the earth, will they meet where they left? Or which would have to walk more?

In theory, yes. The rotation of the earth would make no difference, but in reality there would be mountains and oceans, that would hinder walking.
