What is true of the parasympathetic and sympathetic divisions of the nervous system?

They differ anatomically in that parasympathetic neurons emerge from thoracic and lumbar vertebrae (middle), while sympathetic nerves originate from sacral vertebrae and the medulla (top and bottom).
They are similar in that neurons from each division influence many of the same organs.
They differ in that the parasympathetic division controls your voluntary skeletal muscles, while the sympathetic division controls involuntary muscles.
